Running update

5 TM km in 40 minutes and incline 20% to simulate more realistic conditions. I. Have to bring the 40 minutes to 30 minutes by the end of the year in these conditions. Started preparing the protein drink and ahead of time. Will buy a bunch of bpa free bottles in divisoria if it's possible. Probably 5× 800-500ml bottles for bringing with me in runs. Ideally easy to clean with wide mouths. Anyway I realized how fast fast 10-25kph which inspires me to model movement differently.

Condition update

I have muscle pain in back, shoulders, and around the base of the neck and a bit . I think it's because I pushed really hard yesterday, I have a very minor canker sore. Took a multivitamin in case my exercise diminished me of nutrients which maybe the cause of the pain. I'm still dieting, trying to keep protein levels up via milk and protein shake. I think I can hit 1500 cal today with just one meal with the wife and the rest is shakes and snacks. Pooped today after what probably was two days of constipation. More mass out of me than the previous days. All sinkers. Had a benadryl 25mg when my allergies were acting up. No sniffles today as compared to last night. Benedryl makes me really drowsy and worse state of sleep. I really can't quantify which is better, the fear of sleeping too late and too lightly or deep but shallow or long sleep. I wish I knew what was happening to my body.

Running update

30mins 4.km by fitbit. 7.5mins per km. Pain did not occur till after the 7min on the right leg. I have to keep this short since I have an early meeting. Yogurt very early in the morning gave me a 1hour interval trigger for pooping. A lot. Of water loss. I need to take a protein shake after this asap.

I finally got first writing paycheck finally!

Just marking this event, since I was super scared it would be stolen in the Philippine Mail. According to the Stamps it was sent in August 30, and it arrived in the Quezon City in September 11. Today is the 24th, so it took 13 days almost two weeks for it to get from the Post Office to our eastwood city office. Okaaay? I just learned after getting paid that I could have asked to get double the value in SJgames store credit. I would take that if I ever (unlikely) get paid again to buy gaming stuff. I've been living more frugally lately so the added income is a great ease. As much as I would spend it on getting myself Toys (Airsoft stuff) most of it is going to savings since its going to be a rough road ahead since both me and this misus are going to be studying. I'll be trying to spend more time self studying programming, while the misus is getting masters. Running update

4 treadmill km in 32mins. I stretched for the first Time before a run and I had pains on my right leg early almost 4 minutes into the run. 5 treadmill km in 42 minutrs 6.9 treadmill km in 60 minutes. Fitbit ending 8.2 km Its that ankle tendon pain, but I can power through that after a point. My Worry now is pain in my knees. I'll try stretching and strengthen exercises.

Goals by 40

What I hope to apiece at the rate I'm going: (In no order) level 3 HSK mandarin. At this level I can have short conversations in Google Hangouts in mandarin.  Python, Maria DB Programmer. To be able and have a couple of app projects in android and Ubuntu. I've trained our IT and are making an ecosystem for our company and selling the service successfully.  Never to Late to get healthy - Can do a marathon, can run 15kph in 10mins before dorsiflexion kicks in. Can capable of hiking with 60lbs. Good upper body strength. Short Story Writer. I churn out a 10k short story every 2 months and make at least 300usd sales a month for them.  Blender 3d Artist and Game Developer Hobbyist level. I have a 3d game project where I'm building assets for the stories I'm wring and converting spin offs to machinema. If niko was not so much a mama's boy

The logistical problem is that niko is a mama's boy, but daddy can take the fatigue and carrying... if he only let me carry him then we can let him come with us when we go out for errands. Niko when your big, know that daddy and mommy wanted you to go with them and not leave you home with lola and lolo. But since your biased to mommy carrying you we have to leave you. When you can stand to let daddy be there instead of mommy all the time I'm sure you can join us.

Running update

New speed record of 1TM (treadmill) km in 7mins. 4tmkm in 30mins with right leg shinsplint for 20minutes. I really need to give my leg a rest to strengthen with stretching and just focus on my terrible upper body. I'm so obsessed with benchmarks and so afraid to fall of the exercise wagon since it's hard to measure my other workouts progress. Anyway will make probably 20push ups and chair dips then go up. I'm not as tired as I want to be but my leg is in pain so it's taking damage that would just worse cripple my running.

Weight update

I'm actually gaining weight but feeling better. I'm at 177,but my waistline has received a bit.

Running update

Skipped a day. I was supposed to run yesterday but felt my legs need more healing. My Endurance has improved Nike running crashed again it didn't credit 9miles in total since the last crash and it keeps the crashing so I learned not to need it. I am convinced the treadmill is in miles not kilometers. But I'll still call it km. 4:30 min walk a 0.3 km to start Finished 4km in 28mins didn't break any records since I was able to do it in 26 last time. 5km at 38minutes the and 6miles in 53 minutes. 8.5 speed sustainable for 4minutrs before shinsplints kick in and I need to walk for a minute. I'll try running really fast in intervals up to 14 next time. Of course this in ideal conditions with 23C aircon and not having to carry drinks .

Running Update

4miles in 38 minutes and finished 5 km (treadmill) in 40mins or 6km (fitbit) in 40mins. Basically what limits my running speed is my knees and shins if they hurt. I maintained 8kph much longer and had to bring my incline to 0.0 from 1.5. I still had some energy left but Niko wanted to dance so we just started dancing. Eating a lot of meat, more than 300g a day. It seems my waist is getting smaller, but my weight is staying pretty much the same. The yogurt is making me fart more, and since my volume of food is less, I don't poop as much anymore. So much of the weight, probably 2-4lbs, is my constipation.

Running update

4 miles in 38mins 5km by treadmill and 6km by fitbit in 40 mins. I noticed it was an easy run but my problem is shinsplints dulling my right leg when I push for 9kph by treadmill. I rest a minute after a mile for the pain, but energy wise I could push harder. Bone strength is my chief obstacle now. I'll be doing a couple of burpees and push ups after this. Teenagers in the gym sigh leaving the TV on and not logging in.

Sickness Abating; Food Cost Notes

First Night I was able to sleep without my nasal cavity betraying me (with only one open and mostly breathing with my mouth). I think I will need to run. Chicken Breast Fillet was 220php per 1kg. Thats about 85php of meat in a day. A Jolibee Chicken piece is about 50php for only about 50grams of meat. While buying grocery chicken is going to be much cheaper (1g = 1php vs 1g = 0.2 php), especially the ones preprepared and seasoned. At almost 5x cheaper. Fresh vegies and fruits is an important source of Vitamin D. Vit D is important in facilitating protien and calcium into the system, for health. 160php for 1 Goolai Salad 90php for Chicken Meat 140php for the Oatmeal Drink 390php to eat healthy a day.

Running update

4 miles in 42 minutes by Nike. 5km by treadmill in 42 minutes . 6km by fitbit. It seems 8kph by treadmill measure is my most sustainable speed without causing shin splints. I could feel my shins almost acting up. Still feel energetic and need to burn out this energy. Wil stretch and add aliens ant farm song to play list. Will need to study meditation techniques because I have problem sleeping.

60g of protein = 300g of meat; Medical Check up

60g of protein to maintain muscle mass. That translates to 300grams meat (strangely most meats are 30% protein; of course if there is fats and breading you'd have to factor those out). Thats about 3 pcs of 1/8 chicken plus various other sources like milk, protein shake, and some cereals. Made that terrible mistake of dieting sacrificing protein, first thing to go was muscle :( Other than other essentials i won't remove the 60g of protein this time. Will try to get a medical check up by next week from a Sports Medicine Doctor. Will check if there is other ways to keep the cost down like my insurance or promos.

Sick again

Note to self, when I feel that I'm getting sick I should take a paracetamol and keep doing my exercises. The running or workouts will help with the hydration therapy by increasing the amount of water that passes my system

Running update

I got shinsplints it's when your shin bones are having micro stress fractures that cause a dull pain. I have to do something else probable just pushup and crunches and triceps dipps. Betrayed by my body... Its more the feedback loop of my Endurance improvement outpaced by bone strengthening. I won't be using high incline to save my knees some grief and continue to diet to loose weight but maintain muscle. Again more protein and less carbs. 3.6km in 31mins despite my shinsplints. Frustrating ain't it.

Running Update

Finished 4miles in 40 minutes and 5km by treadmill in 37 minutes. Nike running crashed before imputing my run I could just could barely keep my self swearing aloud in the gym. Will finish 6km by the time I'm done typing this in the last walk. My rate per mile is 10mins compared to 13 last may. My km per minute is under 7 at best and averages at under 8 in 5km. My eight knee was acting up and I was worried but since it didn't get anymore painful I waited and then went on.
