Excited about learning more Astronomy

I've been updating my Sci-fi Notes a lot lately. it got me into detailing the background of the Sci-fi setting I'm going to write about as I work towards being able to write a Novel of 100,000 words. I think I can pull off 20,000 words probably in 3 months, then look for an editor to help me clarify what I'm trying to say. The Novel I want to eventually start writing about is going to be my creative channel as I scale down on my gaming and other distractions. Writing is one of the few things I can do that I feel fulfilled after doing, games seem to be so transient and have such a limited audience. I guess my age is showing. So yeah, I want to write a Novel. I was thinking eventually i was going to write some Great Filipino Historical Drama one day, but that has passed since it has such a limited market and right now studying technology and how it is shaping us and myself now is what is inspiring me right now. Decision making systems are Russian dolls

Any sophisticated decision making systems like a person is made up of smaller decision making systems that have enough complexity to be interesting by their own right. In exercise when pain and concentration mix I feel aware of my petty personalities that exist. They have their own motivations limited by their own smaller grasp of the situation. I guess it's that greater whole which lends itself foresight that align all these personalities into a single conscious form. Self awareness being a continuous stream of multiple cognitive process able to reflect and aware of the surroundings and narrative of the situation is a pretty bleak way to look at life or sapiens. But it is that human sentimentality that attaches value to this consciousness that allows me to see such conscious flows as beings.  I really should research what they call this View of Reality - the conscious stream view. Its kinda macabre and to religious depressing, but for me its a way to live with death...

Writing and Reading.

Kath . thanks for the support, maybe I could just write an outline and see where it leads me. Vatta's War. I'm reading the 3rd book- engaging the enemy. I have a small complaint with the book: it seems that the enemy and all the non-major cast are too conspiratorial. If I were to break down the events and outline, the bad guys seem to be diffuse, disorganized and has almost unlimited resources. I find the adversaries in Vorkosigan Saga and Honerverse more believable because of their limits and predictability. In Vatta's war the police are all stupid and lacking of common sense. The main characters deal a lot with the law enforcement doesnt seem to have some basic common sense. I know its not a detective story or I understand difference of modern taste when it comes to crime related story and the their proliferation in todays media but the Police in the story lacks the ability to not take everything at first glance. For law enforcement and supposedly one of the more people...
