He tried to shave me while I was helping him out in plants vs zombies. I was surprised to feel a razor scraping against my cheek. I could. Not get mad at him but had to explain to him,next time to let me show him how to Shave me instead of shaving me without my guidance.

At uniqlo buying new clothes for chat as she gets bigger and preggers. Today we need to document how it is not to be spoiled and make a new level for him.

So we tried studying with niko. He needs to do worksheets and he has a lot of problems writing. Most importantly we needed to instill: 1) wanting to study 2) pride in his work. 3) a matter of fact approach to failure. 4) the ability to concentrate So far he has the following learning goals: 1) bayang magiliw 2) writing his name, writing in general 3) being able to read a book and find the pages. He complains a lot and struggles with concentration. He would take only 1 minute to write a line if he can concentrate.

He peed in the bed, probably around 3am. I woke up to fix it (happy Father's day). He's been peeing sometimes lately. we slept late at around 12mn. He woke up late at 9 and after eating and bath he went back to sleep. We woke him up at 10am for the bus but he cried a lot. His moods His sleeping pattern His attitude to school He gained germ phobia in school. Must have used fear. We watched finding dory yesterday. He was very happy except for the minor tantrums that day.  We went to BGC center square and still paid for expensive parking even if we got validated (30php per hour past 3 hours). We went around, and then checked out rockwell. he liked it and wants to go back. Had a bit of a tantrum about that.

17 mins 2.15km star trac and 2.8km Nike. Niko had nightmares about  Nintendo and gaming. I didn't get any sleep. It was from 340am and I zoned out on the phone till 430am. I woke up at 10am and felt like the sleep debt can bring me to sleep to 1pm. But I have a meeting. I have class tomorrow and I have so much to do. I will try to take niko on adventures more outside of gaming. Back is a little sore. I look good today but my back is sore.

Interesting. My son (turning 5 on sunday) stopped being friends with MG and Chikara because some of their concepts of friendship is monopolizing the attention. If "A" is the friend, then A has to only hang around and pay attention to what the friend says and does. Chikara needs Niko to pay attention to him and do what he says. I'm sure its reciprocal but Niko does not  have the attenion or capacity to monopolize his time to one person. If's takes after me, he's going to be curious to understand and talk to everyone. MG is kinda too rough. He tends to hurt niko and my son has a bad experience with MG. Avery and Soske throw their weight around, Soske delights bullying him. Niko is best friends with Joaquin. Another filipino kid in school who is about 2-3 years old. He loves niko and calls him Kuya. Niko really wants to have a sibling. Niko is sick. He vomited 3 times.  I was sure it was food poisoning and he never go to the level where he just vomited water. So I'm assuming the toxin is still there. Was not able to work out and bloated.

did another 7 min (10 minute) exercise. should have done it earlier chair dips can only go on for 20 sec right ankle area acted up during the high knee area. push up and rotate is still slow.  feeling a bit of that fever thing in the back of my throat this morning and monday afternoon.  Goals other than maxing out the activities an reps in the 30 second intervals.  being fit enough to do this 2x a session.  Need to add weight to the vest in the future. I can't just add at a specific time. but over time the weight vest gets heavier.  Doing more push ups and lifts. after 4+ hours there is a tendency to work out and study mandarin. Doing writing exercises and the  Mandarin Class Mandarin's writing exercises is not for Basic 3 but I have to work on it now. Also because I've gotten a habit down. Sunday night Aug 9  to Aug 10 around 1-2am niko had a night terror and sleep walking. He fought us but did not make sense and kept screaming. He even ran out of the room. He was always saying he wants bago, or to buy money, and other such confusing nonsense. We fixed a lot of his crankiness and negativity by sleeping early. 10hours of sleep helps me wake up more positive. We have to keep him in the dark to make him settle to sleep. Sunday he swam and tried to swim without his floatation  vest. He can do the jacuzzi but when he tried the big pool he survived but got traumatized. He would kneel down and hug his knees when emotionally stung hard. There was a party in the pool he wanted to join. I told him that would be crashing. It added to his vocabulary. I tried to tell him school is like a party where he's invited.

 spanking him after giving him a deadline to act is not ideal. Working towards having him join me as I get ready for the day. Apprenticing him by letting him join me in the habits I try to gain. Wake up at 5 and exercise until it's time to eat. Leave before the hour is done to eat and get coffee.

Niko learned about Active Fun. It was 395 and 125 for adult pass. Needs socks. Total of 520php. 

He has better speaking Skills. He's.now brushing his teeth and dressing up before bed when he has the chance. It took a couple of spanking for him to know there is a line he doesn't need to cross, but he's adapted well. He's hyper and sleeps late, because we sleep late. He looks for me these days and I'm at the brink of getting sick. I'm fatigued too often. I need more exercise but I heal too slowly. We need to have him connect to people more and we need to connect more. Both parents have strong gaming and Internet compulsions.

niko had a nightmare at around 2:55am to 3:20am. he started screaming,  his diaper was full. he wanted water but he didnt want the bottle. he screamed about water, about the light and was hitting and flailing around. eventually he wanted to be naked and he had to drink my small water bottle I have for my medicine and times like these. he took forever to calm down. he was playing with his dong . eventually he allow us to put a diaper on him and clothes. still I got a thorough waking.

So after getting home, its no diaper and no shirt time (since he can get pee on his shirt). He is self conscious enough to want to go to the toilet. So we have a naked little boy running around the condo until he poops and pees himself. We tried Family Mart's Salted Caramel Soft Serve, which was pretty good. Niko though is just as impressed as any other ice cream. We have to do the book exercises while at home. He's a bit delayed in many of the skills despite what my mom says. He can now sleep in the nap break in the class. but sometimes he doesnt. He likes sleeping 9+ hours which is normal. We try to sleep by 8pm, but its a struggle to wake before 7am.

Read the teachers report He's in Nursery He is now studying 8:30am to 3:30 pm. Napping in the middle and class hours are 9-11, and 1:30-3:30.  He does the lying down tantrum. We will resort to hitting his but hard enough to shock him.  We need to potty train him more intensively. He joins me to pee, even if he just pretends, and slowly getting the idea of "yucky water" and yucky things.  We need to give him more writing exercises He is playing less with our mobile apps and more with his toys.  He listens more, but its such at a slight improvement. My only measure is how mentally exhausted I am making him comply - I may be more or less tired, but less frustrated with him today.  Today in the walk to school he didn't want to hold my hand half the way. The park will be closed next week for 3 months. (Sept 8 to Nov 30). 

around July 14-20 niko was given meds, an antibiotic of 5ml and something for the colds. We were barely able to stick to his 12hour (2x a day) schedule for the antibiotic since he would put up a fight and would need 2-3 people to administer it, even with generous bribes. It was on the 19th where he would later learn to just take the medicine without restraint. Prior to that he had a mild fever, which eventually rose. We went to the Wife's company doctor since the medicine was almost free as well as the consultation. Anyway, he's sick again. This time its pretty bad. He would not eat and fell asleep. He ate only a little, and now sleeps even though he woke up fairly early. he did not go to school today. Hopefully he gets better. Now that the bribes work, I hope its fairly smooth sailing administering the drugs from now on.

Chat is currently Sick. Niko is now, for more than a week, playing imaginary games. He finally appreciates the Pig and Frog puppets and fights with them energetically. He likes head butting with them and like getting bitten (dont know why?). Today he ate by himself the noodle soup of his mom. We are trying to reduce the sugar in his diet. Although he needs to be bribed with icecream or some sweets to eat regular food.

2nd time this year. last time was Feb 2.  Last time it was an ear infection and we went to the emergency room at Makati Med because of +39C fevers. He took 10 days (2x a day, 1 / 12 hours) antibiotics.  This time he had two cockroach bites and there was a mosquito in the room. Its better to over-react a bit compared to not doing anything, so a doctors visit was called for.  will journalize his health here. 

Last night and the night before Niko actually liked snuggling up to his dad, so I've got to put this down. the last time he did this was when he was much smaller about 1 year or less. Normally he would snuggle up to his mom, but today and yesterday was a surprise. Maybe because of how cold it was, my added weight is making me harder to cool down. I couldn't just leave the bed. That night when I pulled out my arm under him he woke up and sat up.  He likes "Jump High" and asks me to toss his 30lb up  - he is my weight training (like seriously counting the reps per toss) he can read a bunch of words because of Endless Alphabet he can write egg on the key board to look for Kinder Egg Surprise  he seems to get sorry, when we appologized after the hair cut he couldnt look to my eyes and had that ADD look of not caring but didnt feel ill towards me that night after the traumatic hair cut.
