I woke up to the Screams of engines and tires. I'm GMing? Plans are 2nd week of June or later on... basically I am Running Mahadlika (see link, my mahadlika). Well I have a simple story line in my head... f*cking Hard ! They told me it was hard, I thought it was as hard as learning 3d Max by yourself... but this is F*cking HARD! The forum has a spam filter that makes searches difficult, answers are vague and without any VERY basic elements for laymen, and it seems that threads on the forums are incomplete if not discontinued with no answer.

Quirks . at the point that I'm pretty stressed out that little involuntary quirks are appearing. Cracking my neck more often, talking a little bit aloud to myself as I work. twitching and tapping uncontrollably, while I work. I guess stress level are higher as you become more productive. I'm drawn to joining in the GURPS forum while I work. Reacting and analyzing. Then I keep caluculating certain details of my character and how to best represent a medieval household. Its really weird but i can't help but figure out a way to best simulate these little things even if I'm not running a game. Ahhh to run a game again . that would be fun and de stressing... a bit. then I'll be trying to juggle stuff for me, the game, work, chores and studies i haven't gotten on.

My compulsions . (as you can see in my other blogs) are in reading and research. I can't help the curiousity to see something clearer and clearer for purposes of gaming. As a GM is my job to see the big picture and describe it to my players. In my research about medieval and byzantine lifestyle, i've drawn many comparisons and parallels to modern life. Certain things will always remain the same and a lot of things on the surface changes. For the game experience It really helps to better describe the characters and the world around them. Where they are in the economic ladder says as much about what they do and their motivations. Right now I've indulged in my compulsions because our team leader is not here and I don't have anyone to ask help from dealing with the brick wall I'm hitting. Looking at the real world projects using OGRE 3d, I feel like I should work for them, even for just peanuts just for the training. I'm 29 and I'm doing this NOW?! I will be having my saturday at work . I'm learning as I go biped animation and I've been stumbling a lot. Its Wednesday and I expect not to finish on time. It is around 30 something seconds worth of animation that would be looked at close up... so I feel the pressure. Dealing with Clients . Clients are a fickle bunch, they want to make their money go far but want more than what they already negotiated. Our french client was at first satisfied with our progress, then came back on monday to complain about the progress.
