Its been almost 2 years of waiting . No I finally have it. Fortunately Anticipation hasn't inflated the worth of this book, which would (of course) bring me down. Finally having tho is This book. I think I got a cold from too little sleep. I have a cankersore which is supposed to be a symptom of weakening. I only got 6 hours of sleep today. I like my sleep and will try to sleep more (IOW earlier). the sniffles are making my nose red from having to wipe it often. 3ds Max and 32bit platforms . I've found out that there is a CAP for 32 bit 3ds Max. My system resources can only access up to 2-3gig ram. Something I wished I knew much earlier on. I've been studying up on the Area Forum and learning more and more about ways to help my workflow. It takes a lot of forethought and conditioning where by you break down whatever you see in to ways to render every motion as efficiently as possible. With the combination of Video Editing and Some special Effects I'm able to pull of stuff that would have taken days to render (which is called rendering brute force). I just learned how Mental Ray Translates into my training. Although it is cutting too close when I have only about 2 hours before the deadline. 3ds Max Design 2009 . It was good I did a bit of overtime. I just made it. I figured out the problem with the Frosted Glass. F*ck that was hard. I almost thought I would have to lose a day to this technical problem. This work is SO DAMN HARD! Its both a comfort and a curse. A comfort to know few can do this and a curse cause it will always be this hard (because as soon as I learn something new I try to break my limits). It is a good days work when I overcome a challenge like this and make a bit of my personal deadline. Yesterday it was a registry problem, then compound that with a fickle connectivity with my isolated network. Everyday there is a problem, if there isn't a problem then I'm doing something wrong.

Darklands . is one of my favorite games growing up. It is unique at a time where games were focused in fantasy and no one wants to take the effort to study up on history. As a catholic school boy, I was pretty interested in the light it played for the catholic church. Growing up in Opus Dei taught us to be intolerant of other religions, and I could practice it in this game where I sacked the City of Wittenberg in the vain hope to destroy the city and prevent the protestant reformation before 1517. It was easy to be a zealot and an ignoramous thanks to youth, the game came out at around 1992 and I remember playing it at around 1994 making me around 15 years old and incredibly emotionaly and socially retarded for my age (thanks to Opus Dei). Sliders are freaking tricky . It took most of a whole day to get the effect of lights coming on slowly, in an empty room. I finally learned to use sliders and there is a whole lot of problems it gives you beyond what the help would explain. Saturday . Planning to purchase a CPU casing. I don't want to spend so much per week. There are things I have to still save for even if my income improved a lot. There are a number of things I'm looking forward to like: 1) New CPU casing (so I can take my CPU home and salvage my 1 year old parts as to take its place in my render farm. I want to play Mount and Blade with my expensive Video card. 2) New GUN. Actually just an upgrade in the arms department. I'm not that interested in a new gun. I just want my regular gun to be more reliable. There is that buttplate repair I need to address. 3) Printer Cartridge. This would be better facilitated with the return of my Home Desktop. 4) Antenna (makeshift): to boost the signal for the Internet.

Morning Habits : I should visit the autdesk forums everymorning to keep up with the ton of problems and concerns in my field. I guess actively looking for problems is better than finding them out in the very last possible minute. The more I read the forums the more I don't want to read it.
