Still in Overtime.

things left to do . Here in the office and still so much to do... Lighting Special Effects. Re work passage way Combine All of them Take Pictures of Scenes. Send them to Bosses for Approval and Final Edits F*ck i;ll be done by Sat and I have to get approvals during the next week. 1 week freakin wasted

Overtime

I'm here at work in overdrive... or overtime. A lot more to do, I hope to finish by tomorrow because gilbert won't be available if it is on our usual friday. Anyway almost done. I don't know if I can finish it by tomorrow but it is possible... I'm supposed to leave at 8 but I'm just so close to ending some parts. I have my goya dark almonds for ration so I don't need to go down for dinner.

Deadlines

Can't afford to burn out. .. My overly optimistic deadlines on my self... is overly optimistic. Anyway rendering this will take a WHOLE week plus editing the video (about 2 days). The guys need to work on the software in around a work week. So I guess the I need 3 week. Today is tuesday. next week is the start dec and the last week is a NO TOUCHIE! so I'm pretty much F*Cked. I have no buffer time and the shit is hitting the fan. I'm not yet done. F*cking need to model the passage way and all the little details that make it realistic, which is a PAIN doing by myself. From little switches, to plants and special lighting. F*ck!

The weight of Guilt

Failures accumulating . I feel bad that the project is not moving. its pointless to execute Pat's design if his staff is already making it only to scrap my own and waste uselless effort. Right now I'm just rendering the old design which has 125 HOURS to go to finish 70% of it. Its moving at 1.5 hours per Frame! (this is already with some tricks to speed up rendering time.) 64 bit is WAY more stable (no errors so far) but I really need more Core Units working. Its painful to ask for more money and I have to invest another P15,000 to convert my desktop to a 64 bit render node. I have to sacrifice my desktop and its game playing performance to get this job down, leaving me this humble laptop for my computer game entertainment. So far my parents have already invested about P330,000 (and another P120,000 pa for the other services rendered) on this project. In the scale of business it is actually pretty small, but since its failure or success hinges on me, it's a HUGE amount to

Being a D!ck

being a d*ck . Can't help it sometimes and I'm slowly learning to be unapologetic about it. I realized with time that if you have the best intentions and your acting out mutual best interests so much is lost in being too nice about it. I think I've proven my honesty and my honor often enough. I'm pretty proud of my character and seeing the real world for what it is, I know I'm a rare commodity when it comes to traits mentioned in former. There are a lot of a$$holes, us good guys have to act fast and learn to see our insecurities clearly. Its what happens as you grow older, you see so many people choose the wrong path. We see that everyday because we live with that filth. Strangely, you lose your sense of general Christian charity, instead you realize that only a few people will still fight and have the same delusion as you as to do what is good despite the general insanity of it. It is true that a completely ration person would be corrupt and without remorse. I

Busy today But Tired

What did I do? Mostly install drivers, read help forums and while waiting for the computer to catch up read up on the boards and jot down some gaming notes. 64 bit Problem . It is more stable and didn't suffer an error when I tried rendering something 32 bit took forever to render BUT now I have a new problem. My render cores are 32 bit and they don't like talking to my new 64bit OS. Another piece of trouble to shoot. I may have to render with just 1 computer, and it happens to be my work computer. What I will try to do is convert my other render node into 64bit. I've been researching it to no avail. I want to save on expenses and spend on an upgrade instead of buying a different product. I may need to change my Pentium D into a 64 bit compatible Dual Core, I wonder how much that will cost. I say these all with the hopes that I don't need it, but likely I will and I will have to dish out another P10k uggg :(

Slow Rendering

Problems .Very slow rendering has prompted me spend 10k to get a 64bit Windows Vista Home Edition. the errors are mostly RAM related, even if my system can more than handle the load. Increasing the RAM won't make my rendering go FASTER, from what I understand, it allows the computer to Hold all the data meant to be calculated. It seems that 32 bit 3ds Max doesnt have the bench marks or limits by which balance your rendering load. It is mostly intuitive and problem solving. Right now I'm rendering 1 frame at about 700 x 500 px and the computer will take more than a F*CKING hour!!! Again, there is no quantitative way to measure what is too much, the Change of OS would probably make it go faster (because its moving data at 64 instead of 32) but Most definitley would be that I don't have to worry about Errors rendering when I'm away. leaving it render overnight :(. At this rate I will have to go to Work on Saturday to finish some stuff. I'm hating myself . Too many prom

Will try to update soon

F*CK. I'm really stumped. It keeps getting progressively worse. i don't know what is happening. Why can't it even render at Low quality (i have to render at the lowest which is draft).

Some Crazy Ideas

A different Approach to gaming . Growing up, a lot of things change. one of the things I plan to change is how I enjoy my game. As a GM who is obsessed with preparation, one thing I have not yet explored is recording games in a way that it is easy to watch for non-gamers. I know video editing, I'm technically proficient enough to find certain means, and I have a good bunch of players. I don't run LONG campaigns, and instead focus on short adventures. Now, there is youtube the internet, and there is a large enough community curious to see other peoples games. Challenges: Recording the video . Web cams are sufficient, but I also have a phone cam and my digi cam with 1g of memory (and probably borrow my wife's). Having more than 1 POV and multiple sound recorders will help ensure clarity, and accuracy. Another challenge with the webcam is the format. Ideally it is already compressing/capturing in a format that is efficient. I still don't know much about my webcam. I'm

The news on everyone's mind

He won and maybe hope is what we need to get through these hard times.

Food Poisoning.

There are 2 possible culprits: My dirty mug or the New Jolijeep. My Mug . It was clean. I wash it thoroughly every day after using it. Although, there was some water that didn't dry out since I keep it sealed, there is very little chance the office vermin would have come to it for drink. the New Jolijeep . Well its new and not many people have been patronizing it. A point against it is the timing of my first upset stomach in the day. It occured roughly 30 mins after eating. Telling my mom where I could have gotten either one would summon some nags upon me so I dare not tell her or anyone else what had really happened. When I wasnt sure, i attributed it to early morning sensitivity. 1st Crusade . Slowly gearing up to a game about the 1st Crusade. Alexius Comnenus (which I have the stats of) and his campaign to reconquer his kingdom. Since troubles must come in 3, PCs must condend with the Franks, Turks and the typical Challenges that comes with the setting and genre. It is early med
