3.6km according to star trac 31 minutes 5k according to nike 4.6 according to fitbit. Anyway I'm recovering from really bad back pain and i was gaining weight. These past 15 dats I was just trying to starve and lose weight. I managed to lose a pound. I'll just take my exercises lightly so that I can use it purely to focus. Will do push ups later tonight t.

Rant time

Did a lot of art this week, unusual. When anyone asks me about a multimedia degree I'm like "No!" never you're going to regret it. One of the reasons I got it was I sucked in math and science. You know how many people sucks in math and science so your competing with everyone for a job. It's a degree that's hardware intensive, parents spending at least 30k for initial gear and pirating heavily. Biz 101, the start up costs is already so much and the pay off is so low, if you look at the salaries these days. One biz only needs a very small staff or one artist if they have a marketing arm. So the artist to biz ratio is 1 artist to 400 employees. And the work is mind numbing revisions and no control. I'd rather read a boring 200pg TOR or bills or contracts or accounting. More things go on in one's head when they do analysis then revisions with a deadline, because visual art is so burdened with emotion and biases. If you'd didn't start out as a Rock

30:30 minutes 5km and 4.22km in star trac. Foot hurts both of them they were hurting. Near ankle and underfoot. Bones hurting. Really need to do core exercises between work outs. Burpees, planking and crunches.

Running update

33:11, 4.5km in star trac. 4.98 in fitbit. Really low energy levels. Unlike at night where I think my body accumulated a lot of glycogen waking up hungry means I have really low energy in the morning. I guess I'll be having this problem chronically until I hit my ideal weight. I'm at 180 at night although in the morning I'm 178. I really need to lose more weight and I'm slowly getting my appetite under control. At levels are now mastered but self control is a long way to go. Not eating out as much but eating home made tapas.

Niko doctor visit

2nd time this year. last time was Feb 2.  Last time it was an ear infection and we went to the emergency room at Makati Med because of +39C fevers. He took 10 days (2x a day, 1 / 12 hours) antibiotics.  This time he had two cockroach bites and there was a mosquito in the room. Its better to over-react a bit compared to not doing anything, so a doctors visit was called for.  will journalize his health here. 

Diet and Exercise Notes

Hitting the Wall  and the Videos about ATP, Glycogen, how muscles work reminds me that these should have been FUNDAMENTAL to Health Education in High school. Ok, TL:DR the only time you burn fat is when: you've put your muscles under a lot of stress, and you've entered a different metabolic "mode" where there is that muscle pain  you've reached a point in exhaustion where alertness is severely diminished, and there is a major change in attitude - like wanting to quit. I always note how different my attitudes are when i started and when I hit this level, its so stark that there was a Physiological change. This is "The Wall" So you're burning fat, whoopie doo... its in very small increments its worthless if you had a net calorie gain for the day.  Emotionally drained, I'm susceptible to binging.  Best Points of Loosing Fat Sleeping. Running update

31 minutes but I lost 30 seconds to an alarm. 5km or 4.5km in star track. No fitbit. Legs had a different pain. Didn't eat except one meal at 230pm. Very light. Baliwag 3 meal. Rice, pancit, dinuguan, and sisig. No soft drink. Mostly coffee in the morning. Feet and legs were strained and numb. So was worried I would break something. Feel better. Have energy surprisingly.
