running update

43.5 minutes 5km star trac. Pain in the right shin and at the joint above the right instep. my heart rate was about 145bps when i maintained an average of 7kph. Ran 11.5kph to achieve 160bps. Clearly my heart can take the running but my muscles and breathing can't take the extra activity. To raise my heart rate I have to do some push ups and dips. 30 dips 30 push ups most of the pain in the torso came from under my right rib, that same muscle that bothers me often kept cramping up again. Slept late. I could be getting a caffine Over dose. will try to abstain for a while to see if I have withdrawal symptoms. When i get milk tea I get this head ache, but i always take my milk tea with coffee mixed.

Running update

Left shin is painful. 46-47 minutes failed to pay attention. The usual 2.5 incline. Star trac 5km. Slept late again at about 2 and woke up 10. 30 dips and 25 push ups. Push-ups with my legs up on the chair. 9 burpees till it got dizzy.

[Fears] Current Status of Computer Industry

A computer company was being handed to us, around in 2011, on the condition we hire their personnel. It was a prisoners dilemma when it came to personnel. Loyalty is the only guarantee they would stay until its profitable, and we had our own monkeys on our back to support. I learned a lot about computer programming services for the Philippines that year. I got involved with our own computer company and it was incredibly bloated and unprofitable. it was a mess of personal relationship, unreliable gov't based business, unreliable business deals, and big overhead. We had our own mess, and I of course had the better judgement of not rocking the boat. Now things might change and we may cut out the cost burden. And the cost burden has found an exit strategy, a way for them to land softly. Title says it all. Yeah, it is annoying having to wonder if my post would go up. so I switched. Its a harder to use, but at least its more reliable if I post. what a small disappointment that is pissing me off.

Running update

3km, 25 minutes, 2.5 incline, star trac. Will do push-ups. Last time it was 25 push ups and 25 chair ups. Wil mark it down as x/y next time.

Running Update 12:30pm 1/23/2013

43 minutes, 2.5 incline, 5km on a star trac. 25 pushups, 15 chair ups. Slept long and still tired. been taking benedryl almost every night.

48 minutes 2.5 incline 5km in a star trac treadmill. Poor Sleep. Right shin acting up and opposite of the angle.

45 minutes, 2.5 incline 5km star trac. Will do some push ups today. Ate a lot today.

43 nminutes 2.5 incline, star trac 5km. Slept Ok again at 3am wok up at 10am. Will try adding pushups.

45minute but had to pee break in the first km. 5km and 2.5 incline. Star trac treadmill. Slept 7.5 hours. Just right but shown start.

Learning my own Habits outside my bubble while in HK

I only eat 1.5 meals a day. Now I'm eating 3-4 meals per day in HK I realized I killed my hunger with latte (both tea, coffee and coffee-tea). So I'm super bloating and I realize how I was able to keep my eating stable. Now I have to cut back to the old and work out again. But this time  know what I'm trying to achieve. I need bring my glycogen to down through exercise, before my hunger cycle (2-3 hours). What I used to do is take my lattes where there would be meals and I avoided a very big hunger level. I would have a meal of sorts, maybe at night when its family time (not ideal but for social reasons). I also rationed through protein shakes. Of course the amount of lactose in my diet made me go regularly. If I were to travel again, I have to maintain this ritual through cereal bars and canned coffee, and accessibility to the toilet.  I realize I have a limited endurance because of the need to pee and how hard it is to find a toilet in HK lolz. Malasakit

Malasakit (as it was described to me by my mentor and boss) is a Filipino word that is both Compassion and Discretion. The way its used is interesting  because its meant to imply using discretion to do what is good. the discretion part makes it seem doing what is good is a complicated matter lolz. I'm one of those who don't believe that there are Native words that cannot be captured in english or another language, just words with differently combined ideas. So Malasakit is Compassion with Discretion its like saying: don't get too caught up with your emotion, you have to weigh some pros and cons. Of course It could be his definition lolz.

Running update

46 minutes 5km treadmill @25% incline. Slept 8 hours, slept at around 2 again. First exercise in a while. Bloated to 183 lbs . really need to loose weight especially for the HK trip.
