Day Dreaming again: Internet Cafe by Day Call center by night

I've been staring so long at the spreadsheets at work and all the issues. I wonder if it would be a simpler life to have a call center internet cafe.

First off, you cannot have the lax mindset of an internet cafe exist with the sudden and performance focused mindset of a call center.

Second the revenue generation and HR pressures of call center agents and its operations staff is so demanding that the revenue and operations expense generated by functioning an internet cafe by day becomes such a waste in resources.

Where a internet cafe can exist beside and complimentary to a BPO is as a training facility for agents and IT. By day the computers are internet browsers, word processors for clerical work, and for gaming for LAN and internet, but by night a work facility and possibly an emergency business continuity center.

On week ends its play by night, work by day.

As such, such a large and comfy internet or gaming cafe, situated in the more Industrial and less commercial centers, like Capitolio of Pasig City, Boni of Mandaluyong's, accessible areas of Pasay, near the school districts of Quezon City, etc.,

These non-Peza certified enclaves can sell Business Continuity opportunities to call centers at increments of ~50 seats each. They have infrastructure set up to be burstable and their computers dual or triple booted with the client's BPO center's desktop specs.

Another service these Training Centers and Biz Continuity providers can sell is Incubation services. Allowing a company who wants to test the waters and grow their campaign from a handful of agents to the cafe's size of 50.

After this day dreaming exercise, I realized it is possible to have a less stressed out slice of the BPO industry... unfortunately to pull all this off, you have to be one of those veterans who really want to take a break and rest your heels.
