Easy Atheism: Burden of Proof

Being Skeptical and Understanding how important it is for one to bring along the burden of proof when making claims or arguments makes being an atheist a simple matter. I've discussed before what burden of proof means, and highlighted that Inferring a Deity from "what you see around you" is still an inference and not a direct observable action.

Annoying Arguments: The arguments below are the more annoying arguments because it quickly becomes a game of semantics.
  • Turtles all the way Down - First Cause argument. Everything has a Cause. So by definition god is the first cause, but who caused God. Strangely to theists there can be a God w/o the first cause but not a Universe w/o a first cause. But recently Stephen Hawking and Laurence Krause support that the Universe can have No cause. Funny how this is actually cherry picking God can have no cause but the universe can't.
  • Outside the Universe - Self defeating Argument, since it makes for a self contradictory creature, being or idea. Everything comprehend able needs to be consistent, if it isnt then anything stipulated about it can be wrong. So a Merciful loving god that is self contradictory is NOT a merciful etc...
  • Beyond Logic or Human Comprehension - Same as above. Also such a Claim makes ALL religious institutions Obsolete, because once a God is inconsistent then no one can claim Monopoly of Truth about such a being. Self defeating arguments.
Burden of Proof is a big deal, and necessary prerequisite in BS detection and in any argument of persuasion. So technically, a skeptic or agnostic is an Atheist or a skeptic to the supernatural until enough evidence and proof come in.

Evidence vs Proof. For those who argue with people who like playing semantics, Proof is a logical formula that would be sufficient in supporting a claim, evidence is an example of outcome. Note that these are also disputable, since evidence can be taken out of context and proof is "theoretical" - although a very much tested theory.

I call this easy Atheism because this is the easiest route to being one, if one were given GOOD foundational critical thinking as early as gradeschool or prep. This is after all, merely as step in the scientific method and nothing new. Whats different would be there is exceptional focus on the step where argument is made.

Sad to say, I don't know of a school that teaches this. I hope our kid grows up with at least these basics. As a future parent, I hope I can be consistent and never tire arguing with my own kid. Anyway, honestly I can always point out that I am too tired to argue and schedule it some other time since getting older I will have more on my plate.

Starbucks Nutrition by The Cup pamphlet. Brewed coffee has the most caffein since espresso is by the ounce servings. I wish someone cleared up this min max. Yes espresso has the highest density of caffeine, but brewed is ALL coffee and has the highest Cost to Caffeine ratio.

Technically I'm done with the project

no charter . after learning what a charter is and because they don't work with a charter I'll never do a project without it. A charter is a written agreement with a project sponsor/employer/ in what outputs to be expected and what points are needed to consider a project done. Gurps Mysteries

A really great GM book . If there was Game Mastering for Dummies (not just for DnD or GURPS ), Gurps Mysteries is the next level of Advanced Game Mastering. This is where the players grow up a little, they are not as interested in Hack and Slash anymore and they begin to lean on a more cerebral challenge. One of the best elements of this books is how to communicate clearly to your players through clues and hints in the game. Despite its focus on mystery, this books i great for any intrigue. Eventually mastering these technqies, format, and story telling will allow for games to have a very clear and sophisticated finish. An art onto itself, and not just a game. Of course the most important element is having fun. Fun is when you and the players are on the same page no matter what you throw at them to challenge their characters and give them a chance to shine. Filled with too much information . 330mg of Caffeine will do the trick

Ok i got a grande brewed coffee and put 8-10 packets of brown sugar thats about 155 calories. This is twice the amount of Caffeine i get from my 2 shots of espresso in the morning with 4 teaspoons of brown sugar. How do i feel... Better! although my face is reeling from the bitter after taste of the coffee. good coffee is really sour going down and really bitter after. The intense sugar tends to make the sourness taste fruity. Anyway, my is elevated and I'm a bit hyper but i am able to control that better these days. The tons of notebook and the emotional intelligence studies help. Particularly when i've broken down most of my peculiarities and the way I think. Heck, I think i can make an entire wiki based on how I'd react to certain things. It would be very revealing and transparent of me, and of course like the anything so vulnerable subject to abuse when falling in the wrong hands. I have to email, a friend back some airsoft details.
