Working through the Holiday Vacation . Both my wife and I have to work through the vacation. I have to work on a list of assignments that my boss gave me and, unfortunately, that 3d graphics aid didn't pan out. (he didn't read the date I needed to start, which was jan 5). Oh well, anyway, i guess it is for the best. Most of the work will need to be done during the vacation because I have a deadline by the 16th. How I feel through this is a continuously simmering sense of fear and panic just below my gut. Something that can easily jump up and give me a panic attack at any time. Right now I'm trying to read up on professional webcreation-marketing articles (ones that I can find). I am not equipped for this, but like in any situation that can mean fail or succeed- you just have to do it. Still It half ruined my vacation cause I couldn't really relax. What did I do on the 25? Well, work of course. I do have work through X-mass and 25 is one of those days I have no obligations to visit anyone. After work, I couldnt help but Indulge in playing computer games till 2am. I haven't played computer games since mid november (i think). Anyway, certainly more than a month has passed since I've played cgames. I'm a heartless bastard. Anyway, i have to fullfill some social obligations and with it some social meetings that I do want to go to. I have work so this makes it pretty complicated. Especially when I'm suffering some burn out issues. I overworked myself and I won't make that mistake again. I got a response to my 3d artist ad, I'll hire the slightly overqualified one. I bet I'll be paying the higher end of the deal. I'll check my sched how to maximize this guy. Rendering Time will take up the good computers but at least i can delegate some of the worry. Congrats on RJ and Kat's wedding! TV personalities. On the car ride home, I realized my professorially inclined friend would make a good gamer-nerd TV personality. A Youtube show of them would actually be interesting to watch for History Buffs and gamer nerds. It is SUCH a niche group but still a population greater than 4 (which our regular group consists of). One of these days we should conceptualize 12 episodes and see where it can go. Basically a discussion of History and modern misconceptions as well as look at different POVs and some pretty insightful looks at modern culture and how it takes forgranted information at our fingertips. Of course, some common sense approaches to certain implications. Work . Looking for time to work on my report. Right now my sched is rife with social obligations. I guess I'l find time to work on Christmass day and on the 26th. I make an action plan or something.

Work not yet done I have a small break right now, I'm not sure how much time I really have. Anyway, I'll be working a bit through the xmass break. I'm busy right now, i have a bachelor party to go to later. There was another one in Alabang but I won't go that far for a bachelor party where I may only know the groom. Anyway wifey will be home soon and we've got to eat. Was able to read The Road by Comac Mcarthy can't wait for the movie.

I havent been gaming . I've been working on and off the long week end and was only able to relax while watching family guy season 7. My burn out came from trying to finish as many of my notes as possible. I had a lot of ideas and I had to write them all down and analyze them. Among them, many were promising (Theoreticaly) and I can't wait to experiment and proove them right. Right now, I'm burned out. While waiting to render I always do some game writing and it takes me away from worrying too much. As I write this I'm watching the computer render a single frame and it would probably take it 2hours for this particular frame. I have 5 frames to go after this and won't know the results till tomorrow :(. All I can do is watch it and hope it doesnt crash. Yesterday i was able to set it all up, unfortunately the computer crashed. I can't tell how, but most likely its a ram limitation. I probably have to spend 4k for 2 2G ram slots. Then there is the 3rd rendering node...
