Eating Habits Update

I don't eat veggies. Not that I don't like them, I like them enough. It's just that I don't have time for them and I'm on the picky side. The vegtables I like are time consuming, and the vegtables that meet my habits are frozen peas carrots and corn. So I'm not eating vegetables, I rely on other sources of what vegtables give.

I've started cooking my own food. Its all because I got inspired by Princess Jellyfish and when they ate Hot Pot Style... which is a hot plate (using a tabletop burner) where they all are cooking and eating together (200g of beef per person). The BIGGEST leap with this was that I can cook and eat at near the same time. This was a big revalation, and it was addicting. Cooking with food that takes a minute to cook, Sukiyaki cut beef at 450php per kg for example, and just pouring it over good japanese rice.

Oh and very minimalist seasoning: kikoman (i've tried toyo, kikoman is a BIG difference in flavor/umami) a generous brown sugar and some sriracha to taste. Sometimes the pre-mix has a ton of cracked peppers and if I had the time I'd put green onions to add to the zest. Silver Spoon (anime) is also an inspiration to this.

I am still using protein supplements still since they are the CHEAPEST source of readily available protein when I'm in a hurry but I am now going for food sourced protein again. Especially now that they are easy cook. I will get tired and eventually get back to protein but it feels like I absorb food based protein better.

A friend pointed out this "Latest Editorial" is a self serving argument: because it postulates that people with balanced nutrition do not need multivitamins because they have balanced nutrition
" in community-dwelling adults with no nutritional deficiencies. "

I learned after work out, this food takes only a minute or two to cook if I left it to defrost in the chiller. The rice is cooked in the morning for Niko and the rest is left over that stays in the rice cooker the whole day and stays surprisingly good till dinner. We got the 4 cup (2 rice cups) Rice cooker and its PERFECT for us.

I notice that Yogurt Helps a lot. There is really a strong dependence to the vitamin D specialists of the body and it seems that my "gut flora" needs maintenance because I have a limited diet. So I'm going to be adding more yogurt every day.
