Life with Trolls

We can never remove trolls from our daily lives. It is better to accept presence and develop better ways in managing them, without curtailing their right to make everyone realize how deceptive they are.

The other great thing about them is what I learned in Game Theory: Be provoked, be ready to punish those who betray you or others. Basically trolls who act inexcusably are at the mercy of those who feel justice needs to be served. They allow us to practice that approach toward assholes and refine our technique. Also, they are a great asset to analyze. They hide their identity and try as much as possible to deprive you with information, with the limits of their ability yet all you really need to analyze if they are "struck" is by the level of escalation.

This troll, has begun changing his use of language and has resorted to sarcasm avoiding evidence or any effort to quote and apply basic critical dissection of what is said, illuminating facts. Note that he is trying to hide as much of his identity as possible, could it be because he might have already been a previous forum participant that has become pariah? Yet, the impulse to post, rant and create drama instead of being analytical becomes more pronounced. He thinks himself a bard, being able to control a scene in a shadowy presence of a anonymous voice (Lol).

He thinks that not bringing up facts and logical arguments shouldn't hinder him, the only kind of person who thinks that is someone who doesn't appreciate the "philosophy" he so claims to be his forte. To him philosophy is just sophistry, you can argue any angle... which leads me several possible ideas of his real personal life. What kind of person, would act all this way and fight so hard to get "nerd" cred--- when he is clearly not a nerd.

Every time he repeats his old emotional argument, or when he develops a new one speaks of what he is capable off and the kind of background studies he's done on his own. After being exposed to the variety of freethinkers we get to appreciate how each developed from their branch of interest, and the troll doesn't exhibit any of the patterns you see when you learn about the freethinkers who make up this group.

Intuitively he stands out because of his self-schooling (as compared to that of the many self-schooled people), his approach or interest in the subject matter, how dependent on emotional arguments, name dropping, the fact that he doesn't really read the post to disect it and works on the tittle, oh and his use of a impractical and non-work email or Id. Notice people have a persona, which they use to protect his id, his person has no practical use except to troll, (others have it so that their work and internet life can be separate).

In the economy of his actions, he has never brought up anything he didn't intended as a trap (a false dichotomy). Of course, with such priorities you begin to wonder what kind of person he is. I mean, when a free thinker goes to the Prolifers and the Anti-RHB they bring facts and arguments with them. They argue sources, premises, credibility, attacking the root of the information by which people make their reasonable judgement working on the assumption that people can't be reasonable. (while the other side cite Bible, Plea to emotions, Catholic Dogma, word of God etc...)

The bigger ones, the functional and charismatic psychopaths, they're the biggest kind of troll. Even just tagging one and identifying one is just worth the effort, (psychopaths leave a trail of destruction) and tagging one just makes them easier to find and when background checks and due diligence come up people can better protect themselves against them. There are also some free thinkers who end up troll hunters, particularly hunting this big and dangerous kind. (some of the psychopath trolls, take it to the next level)
