The Guys are interested in playing Mahadlika . Its been a long while ago since I've touched on that subject again. Anyway, its nice that I may be finding some players in trying out a HISTORICAL Philippine inspired epic. Just wanted to rave about that. The all caps Historical is from my frustration with the generation of today, not drawing more inspiration from our own tragic and contemplative history. Printer . Ok, spent morning until now fixing the printer. Got it to finally print Cyan. But got my Hands stained with ink. Anyway, printing out a 500 page book, almost finished with the last 12 pages. Next week will be the flip side and then off to UP or La Salle to get them Cut and Bound. sinc 40 pages takes about 4-5 hours, it will take a pretty long while for it all to print. Fortunately, while I work, It helps to know some other work is getting done. Love how cheap I can keep my printing budget.

because I'm writing something . POed about a situation but I'm working right now and I have something to prove once all my hard work pays off. Looking back at my life, I had to prove a lot, even now I'm still proving stuff (like my potential employers). But I've weathered it and now Its easier to weather it with my wife covering my back. I have to thank great friends and loved ones who encouraged and helped me keep faith in myself. I know some people will criticize what I do. I've gone through that back and college, but I still ended my degree with the best thesis and offers from game companies. I had offers from Department of Culture and Arts. And, thanks to Thomas, I have interested parties abroad. Still, some people need a paycheck as proof. I don't blame them but what they should think about is WHEN i get my paycheck. haven't been posting lately . Been writing and thinking a lot. Anyway, hung out with Thomas and Kath yesterday and caught up. Nothing much to talk about except the article i'm writing. Wonder where I can get it edited, it supposed to be a thousand words. Right now the printer is messing up and I have to bring it out for repairs, draw some card illustrations, and work on some research.

Progress . Its strange when I'm making a card game based on GURPS. I gave up designing card games back in college but, strangely this all makes sense. The system I outlined is original and based on historical warfare. Of course I took the "bowed" or "Tapped" element to keep track of cards that have acted. Otherwise it combines GURPS realistic human stats and applies them in a simple card game to resolve mass battles. Encounters . Whats the point of mass battles unless you can zoom in to the thick of the action. Usually players get to role-play the first few seconds of a engagement. Large numbers fighting can take a while and highlighting some scenes has some movie-like storytelling aspects. Depends on how much time the GM has, he can play out a battle where there are different opponents and different situations. Pope Nicholas V has found aid despite empty coffers. A small fleet, three Genoese warships and a great Byzantine armed transport lead by the Byzantine Admiral Flantenalas, have secured supplies, forces and some allies and arrived early morning at the sea of Marmora, near Constantinople.
